For Parents
Before you send your daughter to us, you should know what you are getting into. The answers are here — including the uncomfortable ones.
What we promise you
Your daughter will be pushed. She will also have evenings when nothing works and she does not feel like it. That is part of it, and we are there to catch her.
What we do not promise: a professional career. Anyone who promises that is not telling the truth. What we promise is an honest assessment, regular feedback on her level — and training that makes her better, however far her path eventually goes.
What it costs
Contribution period: 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.
€350 playing squad
For players who are registered for the season's games alongside training.
€175 training squad
For players who take part in training only — for example on a U14 rookie spot.
The contribution is paid through the supporters club. On top of that come a share of travel and accommodation costs for championships, tournaments and training camps. Membership of the supporters club at €42 a year is also mandatory for all players — join online here.
What we expect from parents
RegioTeam works because parents join in. Not everyone in everything — but everyone in something.
Car pools
To tournaments, friendlies and away games. We organise, you drive.
Home game days
Catering is both a calling card and a source of income: cakes, pretzels or donations in kind, plus help with setting up, clearing away and selling.
Voluntary extras
Photos, organising events, introducing sponsors, scouting for the WNBL, helping to organise trips and the end-of-season event — and campaigns for Basketball Aid e.V.
What parents ask us most often
How much time does it take per week?
Two training sessions a week on top of training at the home club, plus match days.
Does my daughter stay at her club?
Yes. RegioTeam does not replace the home club, it comes on top. That is exactly why the playing partnership was founded: a single club often lacks the squad depth for a team at this level.
Do I have to drive my daughter everywhere?
Not on your own — there are car pools. But every family is expected to take part.
Your consent for pictures of your daughter
We only publish photos and videos of your daughter with your consent — on the website and on our Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn channels. You decide separately on individual and team photos and sign directly on your phone or computer.
